My son, now a teenager and seventh grader, is playing in his first junior high football game tonight. (Tuesday seems to be a weird day to play football, but whatever.)
This morning, he left the house without his school ID badge, so I had to take it to him. When he got to the office, he was wearing a blue #83 jersey over his shirt. It brought back a lot of memories and made me smile… and made me proud.
